Outlook Express Email Setup

The information that you will need is:

• Email Address:
• Account Username:
• Account Password:
• POP3 Incoming Mail Server: (mail.yourdomain.xxx)
• SMTP Outgoing Mail Server: (mail.yourdomain.xxx)

Other Settings

• Outgoing Mail Server Requires Password Authentication (needs a password to send)
• Change outgoing SMTP server port from 25 to 366 (some ISPs block port 25)

Setup Directions

1. Open Outlook Express and go to Tools / Accounts / Add Mail
2. Fill in persons full name for Display Name -- click Next
3. Fill in Email Address from above -- click Next
4. Fill in POP3 Server & SMTP Server addresses from above. They are the same -- click Next
5. Fill in Account Name from above
6. Fill in Password from above and check remember password -- click Next
7. Click Finish
8. Highlight the new account and click on Properties
9. Change the Mail Account name to the person's name
10. Click on the Servers Tab
11. Check the My server requires authentication box at the bottom
12. Click on Ok
